We
have edited some of out footage for the opening of our film, Night Runner. In
our group we decided to experiment in out editing by adding a variety of
different audio and visual effects which I researched and gathered from Royal
Free websites. We firstly tried increasing the volume and changing the sound
tone on Final Cut Pro in specific scenes to try and increase the tension which
would create suspense to later hook the audience.
We then varied the colour shades on the footage as we wanted the lighting to be dark to create an atmosphere, we changed the contrast to get away from the natural lighting. Then by adding the chosen music it allowed us to see what worked well and what didn’t. From this it was clear to see that we needed more footage as the quality was poor.
